The Criminal Sitting of the Supreme Court opsned here to day before Justice Gillies. The calender comprises 2 cases of bousebreaking,. 2 forgeries, 2 lawenies, 1 of housestealing, arid l\of murder, the latter being theOrmondville tragedy case. Willie?m Emery, for forgery, pleaded guilty, and was sentenced to two years ; and in the case of Edward Jones, for forgery, a verdict of "not guilty " was returned.
