The cricket match at Derbyshire was concluded to-day, and resulted in a victory for the Australians by one innings ' and 40 runs. The County eleven r in«£heir first innings scored 106, and^haTinjoj'ip 5 follow on made 127 in their second, orf, «* total of 233 against 273 for the Australians. Spofforth bowled splendidly, .arid took the majority of the Derbyshire wickets. For the Home team, Docker in the second innings was the highest scorer, with 34. The weather was splendid, and there was a good attendance. Little interest was taken in the contest.
