. This day. Mr James Green, M.H.R., received a vote of thanks at Waikouaiti last night. He was snbjected to a good deal of noisy interruption during the explanation of his action on the Land Board. He will support the Government as against the present Opposition, and is opposed to a dissolution.
MrJ. C. Brown, M.H.E., received a vote of confidence at Waipori. , The unemployed again waited on the Mayor, who said he would endeavor to persuade the Government to give the men 5s a day. • '■ ■
