ALBURNIA.
The low level is being continued northwards on the reef lately picked up. It is a'good strong body of quartz, of a very promising appearance, and at last breaking down- antimony was found freely distributed through it. A quantity of water has for several days been issuing from tie sandstone alongside the reef, and it is likely that another reef, probably striking across the one now in hand, will be met with shortly. KAKANGAHAKE, Parcels, of dirt from the Hauraki and Ivanhoe claims have been treated for the respective yields of 10£oza and 2ozs I7dwts gold respectively. The dirt crushed was in neither instance of very good quality. The Sir Walter Scott I quartz is now being crushed. ' ADELAIDE. j The proprietors of this claim are pushing on the norther: drive on the reef at the General Chute leve\ The reef is still in several branches, but they are larger than at first, and the whole lode appears to be coming together. Gold is Been freely in breaking, and the dirt should bd quite equal to t? ; e last pared cruflbed.
