SPORTING- NEWS. m* THIRD GRAND DRAWING IS -NOWJjKN. fTNPARALLELED Success of these U Grand Drawings, as they are carried out on the same principle as in Hamburg and other Continental Cities. , The First Drawing for £2000, and the Second Drawing for £3000 filled before the advertised time for drawing. The Company were induced to make this Third Grand Drawing for £3000, in oonsequence of the great success, and also the confidence gained from t7te public since opening these Hamburg Drawings. This Third Grand Drawing will take place not later than the end of Jttkb, and the Fourth Drawing will open on the Ist July. Late Applications .are registered for the Third Draioing. Over 550 applications for programmes are now registered for the Third Drawing. This Tidrd Grand Drawing will consist of 240 Money Phizes, amounting to £3 000; subscribed by 6000 members at 10s each. The various Monby Pbizes will be distributed as follows :-— . 1 £300 PBIZE . 10 £25 PRIZES 1 £150 PKIZK 10 £20 PRIZES 1 £100 PRIZE 10 £15 PRIZES 2 £50 PRIZES 120 £10 PRIZES 5 £30 PRIZES 80 £5 PRIZES Total Amottnt, £3000. 240 Money Pbizes. The Grand principle of these Hamburg Drawings is that a purchaser of 25 programmes- is guaranteed a Fbize, as it is so drawn that a prize must come out to every 25 numbers, and the chances are in "favor of the investor drawing a large prize, as there are 160 large prizes against 80 small ones. To any investor of £2 the chances are only 6 to 1 against him drawing a prize, and the Heab Pbize or any other may be drawn by any investor of 10s. The Company would not presume to tell the public that they have a number of chances and can loin a number of prizes for a single investment of 10s. The large bulk of the Money, in this Qrand Draioing is not given away in one big prize, as ib is in the Horse Consultations, but you will observe in this Hamburg Draining tliat the £3000 is fairly proportioned into 240 Pbizes, giving every shareholder an equal chance of getting a good prize. This Hamburg Draioing is one of the most novel, and will be conducted on the fairest principle possible, so as to give entire publio satisfaction This Third Grand Drawing for £3000 will take placa under the supervision of a committee of eight gentlemen, and the prizes will be paid over as early as possible after the drawing.
