Messrs Brodie and Bagnall, County Councillors, had a long interview with the Premier this morhing re Thames matters. Major AtkpsWagreed to visit the Thames provided steamer arrangements could be made,to land him in Auckland before 3»p.m. on Wednesday. Arrangements, accordingly have been made with Mr "Fraser,~arid the. Koto-; inahana will therefore leave the Thames on Wednesday morning. The Premier will leave here on. Tuesday for the Thames, and will address the people if asked to do so.
Mr Ritso has received from his father, in London, a copy of the agreement to be signed by the Directors of the Thames Railway',Co. re your line to Te Aroha in the event of the Home syndicate undertaking its construction. . '
