Arrived, from Sydney, the Australia, with the through mails for San Francisco. The Marquis and Marchioness of Normanby, Lord Hervey Phipps, Capt. Le Patourel; and sixty-eight saloon and fortynine steerage passengers through from Australia.
Judge Fenton has induced the Eotorua natives to set aside 515,000 acres of land for a site to the Crown as an endowment for the Rotorua railway.
