Heighton and Co., 177 Queen-street, Auckland, report as follows :—Businsss in the labour department has been quiet during the last week, and we wish again to remind employers that we have a number of select men.of,.all .occupations waiting employnaent, viz, good farm hands, ploughmen, stock drivers, mi'kers, grooms, gardeners, station hands, station managers, bushmen, married couples for farms, boys to milk, labourers, hotelmen, waiters, men cooks, also storemen, assistant?, clerks and others. Women servants are still scarce, although a few vacancies have been filled.
