For some time there has been a discussion between the Mormons and Gentiles of Salt Lake City as to who shall be the first to engage Madame Fatti. Mr Mapleson writies to the effect that he has settled the difficulty by arranging a per* formance of "Lucia" at the Salt Lake Theatre on the trip out to California, and on Madame Patti's return argrand concert in the Tabernacle, President Taylor him* self having consented to preach between the parts.
