TIMAEU EACES.
Timabtt, Yesterday. The following are the results of the events :—
Weiteb Handicap, of 40 sors., six furlongs.—Princess Eoyal, 1; Minerra, 2; Holderness, 3.
Timabu Steeplechase, of 150 sors., 3£ miles. —Agent, 1; Black Doctor, 2; Bona, 3. Hercules was scratched, and eight started. The race was a grand one, Barbary leading all the way to the third jump from the finish, when he fell, and Agent went up, running neck and neck with the Doctor. Black Doctor's owner protested against Agent, on the ground that his jockey bore him against the rails. The decision of the protest was deferred. Timabu Cup.—O'Brien's Tasman, 9st 21b (Derritt), 1; Cutts' Sou'wester, 7st 13lbs, (Brown), 2; Lady Emma, Bst 13lbs, (Cotton), 3. A grand race; won by half a length. Time, 3min. 12|.
