The stewards of the Auckland Jockey Club have disallowed the protest from the owner of Woodnymph against Necklace and Krupp taking the stakes in the Ellerslie Plate, as it had not been lodged in due time. A protest against Billy-go by'em taking second money in the Steeplechase was also disallowed, as his failure to jump the hurdles was due to the fact that the hurdles were not there to jump.
