LABOUR REPORT.
R. M. Heighton and Co., 177 Queen street, : Auckland, report as follows :—We wish employers to know that, we have a number of general farm hands on our books, and other men of different occupations, wbo are anxious to obtain situations. We cannot understand why employees should find a difficulty in obtaining men, while we always have a number of select hands. Several arrivals from South have obtained instant employment through our offices. We have good farm hands, good dairy hands, station bands, station managers, carters, busbmen, laborers, married couples, | gardeners, grooms, storernen, cooks, and others. Women servants are still scarce, although we have a few respectable servants on our books.
