NEW PLYMOUH.
This day.
Information received from Auckland is to the effect that Carkeek, one of the parties exploring the route for the main line of railway to Auckland, reached Te Awamutu without being molested in any way by the natives, who were most friendly. He is now on his way back again, and says-he anticipates having the route thoroughly explored before the Assembly meets.
