The Auckland Frozen Meat Co. has decided to get a vessel to load here with frozen mutton in May.
It is said the temperance victory at the elections will diminish the City revenue, through loss on license fees, by £1000 per annum.
The kauri gum market still retains its briskness, t but there are no alterations in prices to quote. The barque Amazon has been placed on the berth for London, and is expected to take a fair shipment of gum with her.
