NELSON.

This day. On Sunday morning a fire occurred at Takaka, by which Mr Keoghan's ochrepaint works were destroyed. There was no insurance on the place, and the loss is a serious one to Mr Xeoghan, who, after much perseverance, had established the industry, and has now a considerable demand for his paint. The storehouse coritaining twelve tons of paint was saved, and in three months work will be in full operation again.
