The Government lias received despatches from the Agent Genei'ai enclosing the
opinion of Sir Edward Eees, M.P., on Mr Isbister's scheme of unsinkable ships. He is of opinion that it is quite practicable, and also that it would tend to lessen the dangers of ocean voyages. With some of the minor details of Mr Isbister's scheme he does not agree.
