The contractors for the crosscut at Nb t 4 level from No. 2 to No. 1 reef are making good progress, and; haw completed nearly half their allotted distance —100 ft. Another three weeks should see the reef in hand. The company's men are now sinking the winze to the level of the crosscut, but the reef is not being broken.
