The Hack Kace was won by Happy Jack. Seven started, and on the first time round Steel Gray stumbled and fell, throwing his rider and two other hories and viders. Coburn, Steel Gray's rider, was severely shaken, but no bones were broken. • , ,■ Midsummer Handicap, t- Roe, 1; Comet, 2; Sincerity, 3 ; Sir Tat ton last. The Railway Stakes Handicap was a tight race between Marie Stewart- and Sincerity. Pippin and Lady Ballantyne ran of!' the course. Marie won by a neck after a hard struggle. '.• ■<
