11. M. Heighton and Coi, 177 Queen street,, Auckland, report as follows :—The business done during the past week has been quiet, owing to the holidays and other attractions. Our engagement are'aa follows: Housekeepers 15s to 20s, general servants 10s to 149, house* maids 10s to Us, married couples £75, farm hands. 20s, grooms and gardeners 25s and all found, bash hands 6s to 7s per day, milkers 15s to 20s, gentlemen's servants 20a per week. Other engagements at current wages. Wait* ing for employment for the new year: Several good men, women, and married couples, grooms, housekeepers, general farm hands and station hands, and chemistß.
