CATHOLIC BOYS' SCHOOL.
The examination of the Catholic Boys/ School took place yesterday, before the Rev. Father O'fieilly, Mr Breen (teacher) several members of the Committee, and a number of the parents and friends of the pupi's, and gave entire satisfaction.' Six classes in all were examined, and with the exception of a few in the second and third classes, who had bad attendances, the answering was very creditable in all the subjects. Father O'Kielly expressed his surprise and pleasure at the progress made in the various subjects since the last examination. Those who are to receive prizes for good attendance areHugh Mullins, Dan Delahunty, Martin Whelan, Philip Mulligan, James Twohill, Francis Doolan, and Joe Twohill, who made fr0m.221 to 218 days' attendance out 224 days the school was open. The Her.. Father O'iJeilly, before declaring the' school broken up for the season, gave the boys some wholesome advice a3 to how they were to spend the holidays, and cautioned them to resume their studies: with increased diligence during the coming year. Cheers were then accorded to the rer. gentleman, their teacher, and the visitors, by the pupils, who soon after dispersed,,to etrjoy their vacation. :
