NAPIER.
This day. Mr Sutton, M.H.E , has been re-elected Chairman o.f the Hawkes' Bay County Council. With the exception of one year, he has held the position since 1877. The Supreme Court was occupied all yesterday and to-day in the case of Fellowes v. Hamilton, in which the plaintiff, a servant girl, seeks to recover £300 damages for alleged maltreatment by defendant, a medical practitioner, in setting a broken leg.
