The Wellington Freezing Coy. shippnd 5021 sheep and lamb carcasses by the lonic, and 144 pieces of beef. The Wellington Meat Preserving and Refrigerating Coy., Limited, capital £50,000, was registered to-day. It takes over the butchering and meat preserving business of J. and H. Barber and Woods, Crosbie, and Co. It is understood that the official assignees will meet in Wellington about the third of December to interview Mr Connolly, and also to confer amongst themselves as to a uniform mode of procedure.
