Colliery Explosion.
A most disastrous explosion occurred at the Monk field -.jeollieryi; Accrington, near Blackburn, Lancashire. According to latest news to hand, fully one hundred men are entombed in the mine, and it is feared that all have perished. ; ; London, Nov. 7 (evening). The latest reports from Accrington state that the entombed miners in Monkfield colliery have been rescued. . Alexandeia, November 7. Reports have reached here from the Soudan that El Mahdi, the false prophet and leader of the rebellion in Eordafan, is dead. . • " - Amsteedam, Nov. 7.
