THE HOSPITAL.
(To the Editor of the Evening Star.) Deab Sib,—l have, of course, noticed certain letters in your paper complaining of the late Mr Devereux not receiving proper attention at the Thames Hospital. All I can say is that if any complaints are made in the propar manner, and to the proper authorities, viz. : the Hospital Committee, I am fully prepared to answer them, but must decline noticing charges made under assumed and fictitious names. —I am, &c, Martin fl. Payne, Surgeon to the Thames Hospital.
