Mkiboubne, Sunday. The owner of Martini-Henri wins heavily, but the public was greatly depressed and disappointed at his victory:. Melbourne, Yesterday. The ease against the jockey of Archie for suspicious riding in the race for the Derby on Saturday, was heard by the Victorian Racing Club's stewards to day. The case against the jockey was dismissed with a caution. Bordeaux and Vernet have been scratched for the Cup. The following horses are considered doubtful starters :— Archie, Bisbis, Xingsdale, Off Colour, Signor, and The Gem. Melbourne, Yesterday, 10.30 p.m. BETTING FOR THE CUP. . The betting rooms to-night were j crowded, Martini-Henry remains the

favorite for the Cup, and is heavily backed at 6to 1; Despot is next in demand at 7 to 1. The other odds are : Claptrap and Calma Bto 1; Aide-de-Camp, 11 to 1; First Demon, 12 to 1; Nicholas, Sardius, and Le Grande, 14 to 1 ; Commotion, Keoovery, Pollio, and Dirk Hatterick, at 20 to 1. [Received Nov. 6,1.10 p.m]. Melbourne. This day. The papers to-day condemn the decision of the Stewards in the case of the running of Archie for the Derby.
