Works
A statement in a telegram from New Plymouth yesterday, that a man named Edward Smith, who died in the hospital, was a brother-in-law of the late Mr John Williamson, Superintendent of Auckland province, is authoritatively denied. Mr Hudson Williamson, the late Superintendent's son, was astonished at receiving a telegram of condolence from the Mayor of Hawera.
