Colonist G M.Co.—The reef continues to look well in both faces, and most of the qusrlz shows gold freely, tho stone beint r Tery kindly, and the quantity unlimited]' New Find G.M Co.—Tl.e No. 2 reef is being driven on both ways from the cross cut. The lode is fully four feet, showing gold freely throughout. Werahiko and Waitoki G.M.Cos.— Quartz from these mines was being sent to the battery on Thursday and F;iday. Vulcan G.M.Co.— The manager, early last week, broke some stone from the cap of a reef showing strong dabs of gold, the character of quartz and gold resembling the Premier in appearance. Waioron'gomai G.M.Co.—The manager still continues driving on the reef, "which maintains its size (viz., 4ft). On breaking down on Thursday a quantity of nice stone, showing gold freely, came to hand. Vermont G.M.Co.—Somequa#fzbroken from a strong reef in this ground showed nice patches of gold. Energetic prosnecting is being carried on. —News.
