A Katikiti correspondent of the Herald writes on October 5 :—" The marriage of the Hon. Randolph T. Eowley, brother of the present Lord Langford, with Rosetta, youngest daughter of Mr Thomas H. FJetoher, of Homewood, Katikati, was solemnised ab Katikali on Thursday, the 4th instant. The ceremony was performed by the Rev,' £2. J;McFarlantf. The marriage was a 'quiet one, only a few intimate friends being present. The bride, who was. given away by her father, was attired in anand--Bome dress of fawn coloured silk, trimmed with blue corded silk, and wore costly ornaments, the gift of the bridegroom. The bridegroom was accompanied by Mr Arthur W. FLher as best man. The bride was attended by four bridesmaids, Miss JTletchei? (her fliater). Miss Smith, Miss Morton, and Miaa May B°J?te, each of whom wore pretty costumes of cream and crimson sateen. Each bridesmaid was presented by the bridegroom with a handaome silver locket, with the initials ' If. &E. engrayed thereon. Barly in the afternoon the happy pair started, amidst a shower of rice and slippers, for Xaur.dn.ga.,. en route for Auckland, tq spend the honeymoon. The travelling dreas worn, by the Hon. Mrs Randolph Rowley was of olito green, cashmere trimmed with rainbow satin." The revenue of prance for the first' hslf of the present year was £1,166,960 below the estimate of the budget,
