In consequence of its defeat, have acjourned the Legislative Assembly to give them time to consider their position. Sydney, Yesterday. The New South Wales Ministry are entertaining the members of Parliament at a two days' picnic, which has been organised in the most complete manner. A large number of members of both Houses of the Legislature accepted the invitation of the Government. Mekbotjene, Yesterday. It is now considered probable that Mr T. Bolam, whose services as InspectorGeneral of the Education Department Government have decided to dispense with, will not be pensioned, but will be offered another post in !the Civil Service. Accounts to band from the country dis tricts of this colony show that tbe weather 'has been generally favorable for the crops, and there are prospects of an abundant harvest.
