The Bad and Worthless

are never imitated or counterfeited. This is especially true of a family medicine, ana it is positive proof tbat the remedy imitated .«s of the highest value. As soon as it had been tested and proved by the whole world-that Hop Bitters was the pureßt, beßt and most valuable family medicine on euitb, many imitations •prong up and began to stc '. the notices in which tbo prrss and the people of tbe country had expressed tbe merits of E. 8., and in every way trying to induce suffering invalids to üße their stuff instead, expecting to make money on tbe credit and good name of H.B. Many others B'arted nostrums put up in similar style to H. JB., with variously devised names in which the word '\Hop " dr " Hops " were used in a WBy to induce people to believe they were the same as Bop Bitters. All such pretended remedies or cures, no matter what their 6tyle or name is, and especially these with tbe word "Hop" or "Hops" in thoir nßme or in any wav connected with them or their name, are imitations or counterfeits. Beware of them. Touch none of them. Use

nothing but genuine American Hop Bitters, ' with a bunch or cluster of preen Hops on the •white libel, and I) Souk's, neme blown in the glass. Trust no'hing else. Druggists and Chemistß are warned against dealing in itcita- ■ tions or counterfeits.
