NAPIER.

This day. Stables belonging to the Exchange Hotel, JHavelock, were destroyed by fire yesterday afternoon. Above the stables was a loft, where there was a quantity of hay, access to which was by a ladder; two of the proprietor's children aged fire and seven years respectively, were seen coming down the ladder, and immediately afterwards the place was on fire. The building was insured in the Norwich Union for £100. In a lean-to of the stables, a quantity of beer was stored, besides farm produce, ail of which were totally destroyed, and were uninsured.
