General Bouet has retired from Hanoi, leaving the garrisons in possession of the various forts recently captured. London, September 15. The Marquis Tseng and M. Wadding, ton—who have been deputed by the French Cabinet to conduct the negotiation with reference to the Franco-Chinese difficulty in Tonquin, have arrived in England, and are gone to Waltner Castle, the seat of Lord Granvilio, to confer witji the British Foreign Minister, with a view of arriving at a settlement of the difficulty. . At to-day's wool auction sale the catalogue comprised 11,400 bales. The market is firm.
