NEW PLYMOUTH.
Yesterday. Thomas Weir, charged with attempting to obtain the amount of an insurance policy by certain false pretences, was committed to take his trial at the next sitting of the Supreme Court. The accused was committed for trial by the Coroner for alleged arson.
