Wellington, Yesterday In reply to MrEeynolds, Mr Whitaker declined to lay on the table a report by Inspector Scully on the case of E. R; Ward, as it was a confidential report. Mr Reynolds then gave notice to more the appointment of a Select Committee to inquire into the matter. The Waitara Harbour Board Loan Bill was reßd a second time.
The Pharmacy Act Amendment, the Invercargill Reserves Exchange Vesting and Empowering, the Mining Companies Act 1872 Amecdment, and the Chattels Securities Bills were read a third time. The Bankruptcy BUI was re-committed and further amended. The Council rose at 5 p.m.
