Sib,—Some little correspondence and paragraphs having appeared in youreontemporary's columns respecting the sooi of £30 promised by our member, Mr Sheehan. as prize money to be fired for by our Volunteers; and as the paragraph* especially appear to hare been writfe'* with an evident desire to damage Sheehan in the eyes of the pablic, I *W-n be obliged if you mil find room fog a few lines from me on the subject.
