The fitit' premiumi of the new Harbour offices is understood to have been won by Ross of Dunedin; the award being made on the casting vote of the) Chairman, over the design by Bartley of Auckland.
The annual meeting of the Thames ' G.M.Co. was held to-day, Mr C. J. Stone presiding. The report stated that the following shares had been purchased during the year, viz.: Deep Level Cross 430, New Prince Imperial 163, Hobson 1 -500. Coromandel—Just-inrTime 200; ..Martha Extended 233, Hauraki 300. The amount of the reserve fund is £1860; of which £1700 is at interest at 6 per per cent, and £160 at 8 percent. The Chairman aaid their policy was a waiting one, and managing their affairs meanwhile with rigid economy. He regretted that old interests were under a cloud, bat hoped*it was only temporarily. The report was adopted. Messrs Graves Aicken and Barstow were* ejected directors, and Mr Buchanan was re«appointed auditor.
