Prospectus the Company will > immediately c ecfc in Auckland, on their railway and wharf site, will be most commodious, and wityjaiave ap possible, labor-saving appliances,, Tiieajmit. command t) c support of 'tihe'VEßiwfimJi* tff Auckland. For, being connected 'with both the railway and the deep water wharj 7, they, will afford the very best position for th^economic etoraf c of Merchandise, whether arriving coastwise or by road or rail, and whether in*| 'ended fcr shipment, or fdr any V*\& °'f tK*_< interior. A very perceptible «avino£p cartage will te effected by usng these stores—as goods placed in them can easily be forwarded either coastwise or by rail. . V ' Tbe Island trade, both import: and export, for which Auckland ii tbe natural centre.is in its merest infancy, and is capable-? of gJJ^ expansion at no distant date 40d the raci- | lities which the Company will provide for j collecting and storing, and for shipping at short and regular intervals, the varied vainproducts of tbe Islands, will largely promote the rapid increase of the trade between Aukland and the Islands. The want of sufficient outward earge from, and tbe long detention of vessels loading at this port have very much militated against it, as was recently impressed upon.the Harbour Board by a gentleman representing Glasgow shipowners. Tae operations of this Company will largely remove such reproach by being able to have cargoes of meat (frozen and tinned), and agricultural, Island, and other produce reedy, at stated intervals, to load a | steamer or other vessel in the quickest possi- ! ble time, and to give, what is en essential for successful steam service, really quick deß- , patch: They will thus m»ke practicable a regular line of steamers trading between this port and London, making the voyage in lets than one-half the time; occupied by Bailing ships. Buch a service will be of vevy great value to the commercial interests of the port, and coupled with the regular export of meat and agricultural produce by it to London, will prove a very powerful stimulus to immigration to Auckland of capitalists, farmers, farm laborers, and of artizans. For the fact that New Zealand beef and mutton, equal in quality to the best that the rich pastures of Scotland and England produce, are regularly shipped to and sold wholesale in London at a little more than half the retail price in. the Metropolis and large towns of England, will be more convincing to tbe English" mind of tbe abundant agricultural resources and advantages of this colony, than the best printed statement?, or tbe most eloquent addresses of immigration agents. Stockownert and farmers generally by the operations of this Company, will secure what is of the greatest importance to them, viz :— A BTBADX MARKET, AT FA IB PBICES IN AIL 6EABOSB. The shares of the Company are of such an amount as to be within reach of all classes. Tbe desire of the Directors being that the Company should be a gbeat co-opbbative CONCERN, with all tbe advantages derivable from abundant capital, economical and skilled management, the best mechanical and labour saving appliances, and with a large body of shareholders directly interested an producers and shippers. While there can be no doubt of tbe Company being a dividend-paying concern at an early date, through the Company having absorbed a profitable business, it, will be of great benefit to stockowners and farmers to became' shareholders, as they thereby assist to provide for themselves a steady and regular market for their produce, at paying rates, ill the year round; glutted markets and nominal prices' being rendered impossible to those farmers and stockowners who have an interest in, and avail'themselves of the services of the Company. The Shareholders.will have the first claim on the Company's services. .. ;

Country Bottlers aa well as the large farmer and stockowner can reap the benefit! which this Company will inevitably confer on the agricultural and pastoral interests of this and surrounding districts. ' \ ..; THBBK ABB HO PROMOTERS' SffABES AND NO MOKBT PAID TO PBOMOIHBS. : If more shares are applied for than can be allotted, the allotment will be pro rata. While the Directors have made provision for a large Capital, it is intended to avoid calling it up unnecessarily they will doubtless be able to obtain money for the Company's purpoaes at Iqw rates of interest.
