This dayAlexander Aitken, aged 4o- years, fell over a fence while playing, and sustained injuries from which he died yesterday. 1 A stare in Heriot Row, occupied by Mr Pickett, whs burned down las| night. It was insured in the Victoria office for £150. Nothing was saved. It was caused by the overturning of a kerosene lamp. : Lateb.—George Barnes, owner of the bou|e burnt was insured for #2150 in the National Co/s Office. ,j%_.
