This day. \ The case of Gibbons ▼. the Kaipara Steamship. Company occupied the Supreme Court yesterday. It will be remembered! that on the 16th of May last plaintiff lost bis right foot through being gripped by a rope while the steamer Lily was forging ahead. The jury, after one four's deliberation, returned a rerdict for plaintiff with Beren hundred pounds damages. The claim was £2050. <
