GISBORNE.
This day. The application of Mr W. L. Bees was made at the R.M. Court to-day seeking to restrain Mr Kenneth Kerr, the pro^ pnetor of •• Facts," from publishing articles reflecting on the applicant's connection with the Native Land Company, and calling upon the defendant to find sureties to keep the peace. After an eloquent address by Mr Kenney, in opposition to the prayer of the applicant, m which he pleaded that the liberty of the Press be not interfered with, the Court dismissed the application, each party to pay his own costs.
