A number ot Australian colonists, of Irish extraction, have guaranteed a sum of one thousand pounds towards the testimonial which is being raised in recognition of Mr ParnelPs patriotic services., The conference of managers of the head offices, of the various Marine Insurance Companies throughout; Australia, Tasmania, and N<>w. Zealand was continued here to day when the question of a uniform bull policy, on the basis of a clause; previously agreed to, was considered, and finally adopted.
