Beuteb's Teleobams ; [Received June 15, 3 p.m.J . London, June 14. The trial of the dynamite conspirators at the Oli Bailey, was concluded to-day. Four of the prisoners, Dr Gallagher, Whitehead, Wilson, and Curtitt, were found guilty and were sentenced to penal servitudrs for life. Bernard Gallagher and Ansburgh were acquitted. In the House of Commons to-day Mr Gladstone in reply to a question, stated that the Government are about to send an envoy to the Transvaal to negotiate for settlement of native trouble.
London, June 13. A Frenchman attempting to cross the English Channel in a balloon was carried northward, and descended in the North Sea, where he was rescued by a passing vessel. Mr Small, a Parnellite, has been elected unopposed for a vacancy in the representation of County Wexford, in the House of Commons. ■■• v St Petehsbueg, June 13. Three Nihilists, who were arrested in April last and condemned to death, have had their sentences commuted to penal servitude for life. Several others who were condemned to lengthy terms of imprisonment have had their sentences re" dnced. At Birmingham last evening, Mr John Bright delivered a lengthy address to a crowded audience. In the course of the Bame he warmly eulogised the principles of Free Trade. The fetes which have been organised in his honor are continued with unabated vigor.
