In the Legislative Assembly Mr Cole's motion of censure on the land administration of the Government was negatived without a division.
Melboubne, This day.
Mr Redmond delivered a lecture last night in explanation of the objects of the Land League; there was only a small attendance.
Adelaide, Yesterday,
In the Legislative Assembly last night Mr Cole's motion of censure on the land administration of the Government came up for discussion. The debate lasted during the sitting, and was finally adjourned. The motion is not expected to be carried.
Melboubne, Yesterday.
The libel action Therit versus the Age newspaper has resulted in a verdict for the plaintiff, with damages one farthing. The libel complained of was contained in the Age of the 11th April.
