Privatu telegrams to hand from Foochow, dated June 2, report that the new season's crop of. tea is hotter than last seasons. No settlements are yet reported. The slock of Congous is 24.0,000 chests. The first cargo for Australia will not leave before four weeks after the opening of the season.

, Messrs Goldsborough and Company (Limited) received a telegram dated London 3lst May, reporting tbat the wool market was firm ; that a number of fresh buyers are attending the sales, and that Foreign purchases are operating more freely. Combings, greasies, and good scoureds, are slightly in favour of sellers ; inferior greases, faulty, second, and low crossbred, are slightly easier.
