ARRIVAL OF THE S.S. AUSTRALIA WITH THE EUROPEAN & AMERICAN MAILS VIA SAN FRANCISCO.

Auckland, Yesterday,
The s s. Australia arrived at 2 o'clock this morning. She left San Francisco on the 6th of May, and experienced N.E. winds and fine weather for most of the passage. Stephen Hawley, the pantry* man, died on the passage. The passengers for Auckland are :—Messrs Mitchell, Harris, W. F. Stewart, J. C. Stewart, Hayburn, and Sherman; Dr Harrison; Mesdames Potts, Harrison, and Waugh; with four steerage passengers.
