AUCKLAND.
[Pee Pbess Association.]
This day. The Governor leaves per Hinemoa at 4 o'clock this afternoon.
At the B.M. Court yesterday, it was stated a letter had been received from the Minister of Justice, to the effect that an erroneous practice had been adopted in the Court by putting on a summons at the time of its issue a charge for the solicitor, regulated by the amount of the sum claimed. The Minister of Justice suggested that in future this practice should be discontinued. The Magistrate having heard the statements of the profession present, intimated that he saw no reason to alter the existing practice.
