WRITTEN TENDERS will be received at this office up to NOON on TUESDAY, the 22nd May, 1883, for the Construction and Delivery of 165 sets of Points and Crossings, or for any smaller number not le»s than* 5 sets, to be delivered to extent as follows, at the different places mentioned below :—Pioton or Blenheim 10; Westport, 5; Grejmouth, 5 ; Hokitika, 5; Lyttelton or Christchurch, 20 ; Port Chalmers or Dunedin, 90; and Bluff or Invercargill 30 sets. Written tenders are to be addressed to the Hon. Minister for Public Works, Dunedin, and marked "Tender for Points and Crossings" on outside of envelope. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received if presented at any Telegraph Office by NOON of the same date, provided that written tenders in due form are lodged at a Distriot or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour.
