At the Supreme Court, John Black was arraigned this morning upon an indictment of embezzlement of the funds of the Patea County, and pleaded not guilty. Mr Burton prosecuted, and;Mr Samuel appeared for the prisoner.
The sky was quite clear during the eclipse of the sun this morning.
