This day.
In the Supreme Court, the Grand Jnry having returned a true bill against Win. Dale, of Patea, for forgery, the accused was called on to surrender to his bail, but failed to appear. His sureties, Capt. Odges and MrT. Mace, were also called on, but as they failed to appear the Judge ordered the recognisances of the sureties, amounting to £250 each, to be estreated. The case of Apihia, for wounding a man named Wilkinson in the Masonic Hotel, is now being proceeded with.
