CAMBRIDGE RACES.
The Cambridge races held yesterday were largely attended and resulted as follows :— Handicap Hubdles Race, 30 spvs., 8 flights of hurdles :—Harkaway, 1; Lone Hand, 2; Christmas, 3. This was a closely contested race ; 7 started. Bhoets Handicap, 20 sots., l\ miles : —Bewi, 1; Robert-the-Devil, 2; Victory, 3. Cambridge Cup, 100 soys., 2 miles: —Larry, 7st 71bs', 1; Tim Whiffler, Bst lOlbs, 2; Maori, 7st 51bs, 3. Hippodamia (7st 91bs), and Mystery (6st 4lbs) also run. Loan Hand was scratched- Mr Smith declared to win with Tim Whiffler. Maiden Steepechasb, 20 soys., If miles:—Fear Not, 1; Saint, 2; Comet, 3. The other races were unimportant,
